From A Simple Need To A Global Solution

In 2018, as the ever-changing world of software development threw new frameworks and documentation my way, I felt the need for a tool to aid my learning process. Recalling the availability of the speech synthesis API in modern browsers since 2014, I devised a simple Chrome snippet. It was a basic text-to-speech tool, designed purely out of my necessity.

However, two days of continuous refinement made it apparent - this wasn't just a tool for me. It had the potential to become an invaluable aid for many, helping them traverse the vast digital landscape effortlessly. That realization was the birth of Pericles.

Journey Of Iteration

Over the years, Pericles underwent three significant iterations, each refining and enhancing its capabilities. Today, the extension stands as a testament to continuous learning and improvement.

A Vision Beyond Profit

The goal for Pericles was never just about reading out text. It's about bridging gaps, about ensuring that information is accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities.
